FOSTER A DREAM

As you know, we provide quilts for Foster Children through the generosity of our customers. This month we are donating 12 quilts to the VBR Foster Children Agency in Tracy. If you would like to donate a new quilt, or work on one with materials provided by us, let us know. Also, if there is a Foster Care agency that you know of that would like to participate in our program, please contact us.

Teacher Showcase:

Sandra Wagner, renowned Fiber Artist

Sandra will be teaching a trilogy of Fiber Art classes at Sew Many Quilts. She is an accomplished surface designer who has taught, hand dyeing and wearable art for many years. She is published, has won many awards for her clothing and quilts and has items on display across the country. She was an invited artist at both PIQF and Houston International, the Bernina Fashion Shows as well as many galleries across the country.

Her first class,
Fabric Dyeing is scheduled for
June 16th, Saturday, from 10:30 to 4:30.
She will follow with
Surface Design Techniques on June 30th from 10:30 to 4:30

and end with a class teaching the Japanese art of Shibori scarves.
